Jeffrey is a writer, director, actor, fight director, co-founder of Prism Movement Theater. He has been working in the DFW area for the last four years for theatre companies like Cara Mía Theatre Co., Undermain Theatre, Trinity Shakespeare, Water Tower, Dallas Shakespeare, and the Dallas Theater Center. He has taught with a number of excellent Dallas school programs like Junior Players, Dallas Theater Center, and School of Yes. Jeffrey graduated from Southern Methodist University in 2013 with a degree in Theater Studies.

Zoë Kerr

Zoe Kerr is a director, writer, and cinematographer splitting time between New York City and Dallas. Zoe has received a Dallas-Fort Worth Critics Forum Award for her movement play Everything Will Be Fine, a Dallas Film Alliance Critics Choice Award for her short film Out of Hand, and was a semi-finalist at the Austin Film Festival Stage Play Competition with her magical realism play Heartless. Most recently, Zoe was named a semi-finalist in the GrubStreet Emerging Writer Fellowship, the Garry Marshall New Works Festival, the Millay Arts Core Residency, and a finalist for the Helene Wurlitzer Foundation Arts Residency.

Jonah Gutierrez

Jonah Gutierrez has been working as the lighting and scenic designer for Prism since its inception. From using a rudimentary work lamp, to designing an entirely wireless LED lighting grid, Jonah has been responsible for every major technical development Prism Movement Theater has experienced over its five-year long history. He started his career lighting concerts and commercial venues but came back to the stage using his experience to highlight movement, emotion, and space using light. This reason alone has given Jonah the passion he has when designing a Prism production. He wants to emphasize each moment and movement seamlessly, immersing the audience in the stage and story.

Michael Childs

Michael D’Andre Childs is an accomplished Director, Music Director, Composer, Playwright, Choreographer, Producer, and Actor who is excited to work with all the talented artists in DFW. He received his training from Dallas theater giants Mark Mullino, Michael Serrecchia and Paula Morelan, graduating in 2015 with a degree in Musical Theater.

Samantha (she/her) is a professional actor and marketer. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with a B.F.A. in Theatre, and earned a M.B.A. in Marketing from Southern Methodist University. She has performed with The Nashville Shakespeare Festival, Theater Frisco, Sundown Collaborative Theater, Shakespeare Dallas, and The Walt Disney Company. Samantha has directed PMP's critically acclaimed "As You Like It". She is a founding board member of Plague Mask Players. Additionally, she is the owner of Pearl Creative Consulting, which offers digital marketing & web development packages to artists & entrepreneurs.

Erica Herrera
Grant Writer and Program Director
Erica Herrera is a Dallas native, with roots in Durango, Mexico. A graduate of Brookhaven Community College, Ms. Herrera has an Associate in Science with a focus in business administration. She has been with the company Teatro Dallas for over ten years as both managing director and education coordinator overseeing the theater’s youth outreach programs. For the past year, Ms. Herrera has been working as a part-time employee at Prism Movement Theater assisting with grant writing and coordinating programming throughout the year.

Kalandra Scott

Kalandra Scott is a personable Human Resources Professional with 11 years of experience working in the Human Resources Department of nonprofit organizations. Kalandra holds a Human Resources Generalist certificate and is trained in recruiting, improving employee relations, carrying out staff inductions, and organizing employee training. Kalandra uses her positive attitude and tireless energy to aspire individuals to be their best self. Kalandra is inspired by her family and her drive to constantly set and reach new goals.

Dr. Gina Weber
Secretary
Dr. Gina Weber, has a Phd degree in Arts Management from Southern Methodist University, and freelances to improve the administration of art organizations. She serves on the Board of Cara Mia and Prism Movement Theaters, and volunteers at Teatro Dallas, Dallas Holocaust and Human Rights Museum, and for Human Rights Initiative of North Texas. Dr. Weber’s earlier career was at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency where she developed, coordinated, and managed all aspects of the multi-media program, and effective allocation of a multi-million-dollar budget utilized to address environmental and public health issues along the U.S. – Mexico border.

Priscilla Rice
Priscilla Rice is a community artist, storyteller and activist from the Pleasant Grove community in Southeast Dallas. She currently serves as Vice President of the City of Dallas Park and Recreation Board, is a mentor for Primos Dallas, an organization who empowers youth, and is the former Vice Chair for the Arts and Culture Advisory Commission. Priscilla is excited to join the board for Prism Movement Theater as she has long been a fan of the engagement and multiple arts opportunities that Prism brings to youth and intergenerational communities, especially in areas with limited access to the arts.

Linda Cantu
Linda Cantu has a passion for Theatre! She brings 10 years of experience serving as a volunteer and Board Member of the non-profit, Cara Mia Theatre. Linda brings her heritage as a Latina to her non-profit roles, promoting diversity and inclusiveness. She is currently Sales Manager for Specialty Paint Place.

Maya Dindak
Thrilled to be a member of the Prism Board, Maya Dindak brings energy and admiration for the arts and theatre. With 10 years of volunteer work at Cara Mia Theatre and experience in raising funds through event planning, Maya is excited to assist in future events to support Prism. Maya is a North Texas Real Estate professional who is always looking for ways to improve her community through acts of service.
